Admission Requirements
Enrollment Agreement
Submit a completed Enrollment Agreement and application fee along with copies of all prerequisite certifications (if applicable). Enrollment is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis up to and including the first day of class.
Medical History Form
Students must complete a three-page Medical History Form available from Blue Crew Divers.
- Page 1 contains 10 medical questions; a physician’s signature is required if you answer YES to questions 3, 5, 10, or any question requiring page 2.
- If all answers are NO, no signature is needed until the Divemaster program begins, at which point a physician’s sign-off is mandatory for all students.
- The medical form is valid for 12 months or until health changes require an update.
Proof of Diving Experience
Bring a logbook or other proof of diving experience. This is not required if you have no prior diving experience.
Age Requirement
Applicants must be at least 18 years old by the course start date.
Course Prerequisites
Specific prerequisites are listed on individual course descriptions.
Tuition and Student Fees
Tuition is due at registration and includes eLearning materials and equipment fees. Certification fees are paid directly to PADI at the start of the related course. Entrance fees for training facilities are paid before use. Equipment rental fees apply to all in-water courses except Open Water Diver but may be waived with personal life-support scuba gear.

• Initial Enrollment Application: $75 (Week 1)
• Tuition: $9,637 (Week 1)
• eLearning Materials: $3,565 total (Week 1)
• Equipment Package: 7 Seas Gear Package $381 (Week 1), Slates & Pocket Mask $141 (Week 3)
• Equipment Rental (if needed): Weekly scuba gear $4,050 (27 weeks), Monthly air fills $400 (4 months; waived if renting gear)
Key Fees Paid to Other Entities
• PADI Certification Fees: $2,055 total (Weeks vary by course)
• Lake Allure Entrance Fee: 3-month entrance pass $195 (Week 2)

Conduct
Students are expected to conduct themselves professionally. Immediate dismissal may result from:
- Possession or consumption of alcohol/narcotics during training
- Abusive language or behavior toward students or staff
- Violations of laws
- Destruction or theft of property
- Gross violations of diving safety
Disciplinary actions may include verbal/written warnings or dismissal, determined by the administrative manager based on severity.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations can be made in person, by email, or certified mail. Application fee is refundable within 5 calendar days of enrollment unless PADI eLearning codes have been redeemed.
Tuition refunds follow Pennsylvania regulations:
- Withdraw within 7 days: at least 75% refunded
- Withdraw within 25% of the program: at least 55% refunded
- Withdraw after 50%: no refund
Refunds are issued within 30 days of cancellation or dismissal. Redeemed eLearning codes and issued equipment are non-refundable.
Educational Materials
Educational materials, including eLearning, crew packs, dive tables, and slates, are provided at registration. Lists of required materials are available in the training agency’s Instructor Manual. Equipment issued must be returned or paid for if the student withdraws.
*Note: Public Safety Diving students must provide or rent their own drysuits.*
Housing and Transportation
Students are responsible for housing and transportation. Blue Crew Divers can assist with recommendations.
Student Records
Student records are maintained on site for seven years. Copies may be requested in writing. Records are shared with employers only with written student consent. Transcripts are maintained remotely per Pennsylvania Department of Education requirements.
Placement Assistance
Blue Crew Divers provides job placement assistance but cannot guarantee employment. Many positions may require relocation.
Transfer of Credits
Certain courses carry American Council on Education (ACE) accreditation and may transfer to other institutions; however, acceptance of credits is not guaranteed. Example accredited courses include:

Award of Completion
Upon successful program completion, students receive:
- PADI certification cards/eCards for relevant courses
- A diploma in Scuba Diving Industry and Operations Management from Blue Crew Divers
- Certificates of completion for Blue Crew Divers-authored courses
